Idk who all watches OUAT here, and if you do and haven't seen the recent episodes, then don't solider on and read this. This is all speculation as to wtf is going on up until episode twelve, "Skin Deep".

A couple of days ago, I started a character study for Rumplestiltskin and marathoned all the current episodes. (When I got to the Hanzel and Gretle episode, though, I started skipping over stuff that didn't have Gold/Rumplestiltskin either mentioned or on screen. Shit just started to get boring and repetitive. "Mary Margaret, I love you!" "I love you, too, David!" "LOL JK I GOTS A WIFE, GOTTA GO." ":c" / "Miss Swan, everyone is going think we're a lesbian foeyay ship if we keep this up." "Wait, you mean the only sexual tension I was getting was from my leather jackets? Fuck you, I'm taking Henry." / "Hi, my name is Archie, and I AM NEVER IN THIS SHOW EVER GRRRRRRR CRICKETS ARE COOL") ... (That being said, though, I still adore Regina's character, of course. And I do enjoy the three-way battle going on between here, Emma, and Gold, but those two fighting over Henry all the time gets old fast).

One of the big questions of the show is wtf Snow White did to piss off Regina so much that Regina has to screw everyone ever over. My theory? Regina was preggers and Snow told everyone. In the terribly depressing Huntsman episode, the Huntsman asks what Snow did to piss off Regina blatantly. (He was all "What she do to you >O") Regina answered by saying that she confided a secret in Snow, and that Snow blabbed it to everyone. And because Regina's last name in the real world is Mills, and everyone's names alludes to who they were in Fairy Tale land, everyone thinks Regina is the Miller's daughter in Rumplestiltskin's story. So when Snow told everyone about Regina being pregnant (most likely out of excitement), Rumplestiltskin probably took it away from her. ("It's kind of [his] thing.") Which is why Regina would want to kick jerkass Rumplestiltskin off his higher powered ground, but most importantly she would have felt betrayal from Snow. She sees it as Snow taking the thing she loved most away from her.

And so Regina sought to fill the void of her lost child with Henry.

Secondly, everyone says Rumplestiltskin has the gift of prophecy. I DO NOT BUY THAT FOR A SECOND. >( (admittedly, i could be looking at this purely from a role playing view point. the ability to see the future is ridiculously hard to accomplish in role play! D<) I believe that Rumple is just exceedingly good at reading people; their motives, their reactions, their choices... A talent that comes along with being the Dark One is the ability to tell apart a desperate soul. With Jiminy, the two had a business relationship. Rumple should have known full well what was going on in Jiminy's life, that he was a thief with a conscious, and that his parents were guilting him to stay in the business. So it wasn't Rumple seeing the future when he began preemptively concocting the potion when Jiminy paused on his way out the door. (Also, Rumple made sure that Jiminy always labeled each stolen possession with the name of the person he stole it from. He doesn't know everyone's name because he can see the future, it's because Jiminy gave them to him. D<)

Additionally, Rumple's asking for Snow's baby's name was probably so he could hopefully keep tabs on her while on the other side. The curse was his creation, he knew what it would do, and how specifically to undo it. And because he wants to kick Regina in the ass for, as he thinks, turning Belle against him, he would eventually want the curse to be broken. And to break the curse, Emma would need to come back and kick Regina in the ass for him. So, like a creeper, Rumplestiltskin turned Real Land Mr. Gold probably kept an eye on Emma up until she was eighteen and birthed Henry. Three weeks later, Gold acquired Henry at Regina's request for a child, and then when he was ten, possibly planted the story book in Mary Margret's classroom so she would give it to the depressed little boy. But then where did he get the book in the first place? If the Stranger wrote it, does Gold at least even know whotf the Stranger is? Are they in it together? IS IT BAELFIRE? (I hope it's not Baelfire. He should have grown old and died. Leaving poor Rumple all alone in his immortality :CC)

Another theory of mine is that Having All The Dark Magic either dulls or numbs any physical pain. Back when Rumple was just a coward with a possible bastard child, he had a limp and a walking stick, much like Mister Gold does in the real world. So when the curse was finally enacted, Rumple lost his powers and was forced to walk around with a limp again. However, he still remembers that he's Rumplestiltskin, and that he once had powers. And while he feared ever losing his powers before, now that he has, he finds he doesn't need them. AND SO NOW HE'LL CHOOSE BELLE OVER POWER PLEASE DO IT RUMPLE PLEAAAAASE. ;_____;

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Had a blast from the past just now. xD

I really, really miss being able to play with Anzai. He's my baby.

So apparently after hiding in the darkest corner for so long, any attempt to step out and be noticed is desperation and selfishness. Any attempts to garner even a semblance of happiness leads to ridicule. If that's the case, fuck you, tooooo. >(

Strongly considering seeking help. But therapists are still terrifying, hurrrrrrr

Then again, not so much of a rant. Just an annoyance? ...an excuse to use DeviantART more, yes!

It's my own fault, I guess. I painted myself in that horrible corner. Maybe this is just the guy upstairs saying "No!" to having more than one character. I can deal with that. Maybe. :c

And even if they were still saved through nepotism,  it's not like it would be any different. I'd just wait for another month staring at the screen, hoping for the chance to play my lovely starry-eyed idealist, while Mr. R piles on replies and continues to go neglected.

Sooo, it's for the best, I suppose? Either way, I'ma miss the hell out of them. :'c

That mess aside, I went to a Zombie Walk last night! My mother and I had the most fun time~ So many costumes and makeup and acting...it was glorious. I'm definitely going to be participating next year. I wanna be that 'Fucking Clown' from Zombieland. Because that was hilarious. And I like clowns.
